Policy Statement
The International Journal of Research on Multidisciplinary Studies (IJROMS) is committed to maintaining high standards of academic quality, integrity, and transparency in all editorial processes. Editorial decisions are guided by scholarly merit, originality, relevance, and ethical compliance.
Editorial Independence
- Editorial decisions are made independently of the publisher, sponsors, or external influences
- Decisions are based solely on the academic quality and relevance of the manuscript
- Editors are not influenced by financial, institutional, or personal interests
Scope and Relevance
- Manuscripts must align with the journal’s aims and scope
- Submissions should demonstrate multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary relevance
- Papers must contribute to academic knowledge, professional practice, or policy development
Manuscripts that fall outside the journal’s scope may be rejected at the initial stage.
Peer Review Process
- All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process
- At least two independent reviewers evaluate each manuscript

- Editorial decisions are based on reviewer recommendations and editorial evaluation
Editorial Decision-Making
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision based on:

Possible decisions include:

- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
Confidentiality
- Editors and reviewers must treat all submitted manuscripts as confidential
- Information about submitted manuscripts must not be shared without authorization
- Unpublished materials must not be used for personal research or advantage
Conflict of Interest
- Editors must disclose any conflicts of interest
- Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where a conflict exists
- Alternative editors will be assigned when necessary
Ethical Oversight
- Editors ensure that all submissions comply with ethical standards
- Suspected misconduct, including plagiarism or data falsification, will be investigated
- Appropriate actions, such as correction or retraction, will be taken when necessary
Corrections and Retractions
- Errors identified after publication will be corrected through formal notices
- Articles may be retracted if serious ethical or scientific issues are confirmed
- All corrections and retractions will be handled transparently
Timeliness and Efficiency
- The editorial team strives to process manuscripts in a timely manner
- Authors are informed of decisions within a reasonable timeframe
- Delays may occur depending on reviewer availability and revision requirements
