Policy Statement
The International Journal of Research on Multidisciplinary Studies (IJROMS) promotes responsible and ethical citation practices. Citations must be relevant, accurate, and contribute meaningfully to the scholarly context of the manuscript.

Principles of Citation

Authors must ensure that:

• Excessive or unnecessary citations are avoided

Unethical Citation Practices

IJROMS strictly prohibits:

• Citation manipulation (inflating citations artificially)

• Citation cartels (mutual citation agreements)
• Citing irrelevant articles to increase metrics

Editorial Responsibilities

Editors and reviewers must:

• Not request citations for the purpose of increasing journal metrics
