Scope of Confidentiality
All manuscripts submitted to IJROMS are treated as confidential documents. Information contained within submitted manuscripts must not be disclosed, discussed, or shared with any unauthorized individuals at any stage of the publication process.

Confidentiality applies to:

  • Author identities (in double-blind review)
  • Correspondence between authors, reviewers, and editors

Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers must:

  • Treat all manuscripts as strictly confidential documents

  • Destroy or delete manuscript files after completing the review

Editor Responsibilities

Editors must:

  • Ensure that all submitted manuscripts are handled with strict confidentiality
  • Not disclose information about manuscripts to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and editorial staff as appropriate
  • Protect the identity of reviewers and authors in a double-blind review system
  • Avoid using unpublished materials for personal research or gain
  • Take appropriate action in cases of suspected confidentiality breaches

Author Responsibilities

Authors must:

  • Respect the confidentiality of the peer review process
  • Not disclose or publicly discuss reviewer comments or editorial decisions without permission
  • Ensure that any confidential data included in the manuscript is properly authorized for publication

Use of Unpublished Materials

Unpublished data, findings, or ideas obtained through the submission or peer review process must not be used by editors, reviewers, or editorial staff for personal, academic, or commercial purposes without explicit written consent from the authors.

Data Protection and Privacy

IJROMS ensures that all personal information (such as names, affiliations, and contact details) is used solely for journal-related purposes and is protected in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy standards.

Breach of Confidentiality
